About Radison Blue
Radison Blue occupies a 1,500 square metre plot in Hurghada’s Intercontinental district, immediately beside Sugar World and close to the South Tourism pedestrian promenade. The architect describes the building around three features: a central volume, aligned balconies, and a dark roofscape that gives the upper silhouette its identity. Ornament builds up around the openings towards a central crown, so the elevation reads as one coherent composition despite the density of its detail.
Architecture and Design
The facade language is French-inspired rather than the Mediterranean-Moorish vocabulary ARCHI HUB uses elsewhere in Hurghada. Cream stone is carved around tall arched openings, wrought-iron balconies repeat on a regular rhythm, and a dark slate mansard roof with dormers crowns the composition. At dusk the building reads as a light-toned volume with a heavy dark cap – the reverse of most contemporary Red Sea residential architecture.

Important: Radison Blue is a private-label name, not a Radisson Hotels & Resorts property. Our checks found no Radisson Blu development in Hurghada, no developer or broker listing under this name, and no announcement from Radisson of a project in the Intercontinental district. The only Radisson properties in the wider area are Radisson Blu Resort El Quseir and Radisson Blu Hotel Makadi Bay, both of which are separate and unrelated. The façade signage itself reads RADISON BLUE – a misspelling of the brand name – which permanent branded signage would not normally carry. Treat this as an independent development with an aspirational name. Do not contact Radisson expecting a reservation or a reservation system, and do not rely on any implied hotel management arrangement until the developer confirms it in writing.
Location
Intercontinental sits on Hurghada’s southern approach, between the city centre and Sahl Hasheesh. The district has become the address for higher-end residential and hospitality projects over the past decade, partly because of the promenade and the proximity to the Sheraton and the marina. Sugar World and the South Tourism walkway are within walking distance, which is the main practical argument for this location.

Not published
When will Radison Blue be delivered?
Target delivery is 2027. Design stage, published by the architect in September 2026.
Is Radison Blue related to an international hotel brand?
The building carries RADISON BLUE signage. A second architect post refers to it as ‘Radisson Blu’. We have found no statement from Radisson Hotel Group confirming a branded-management or franchise relationship with this development, so we do not present it as a Radisson Blu hotel. Buyers should confirm the operating arrangement with the developer directly.
Is Radison Blue a Radisson Blu hotel?
No. Despite the name on the signage, we found no evidence of any relationship with Radisson Hotels & Resorts. There is no Radisson Blu project in Hurghada’s Intercontinental district, and the Radisson properties in the wider area (El Quseir, Makadi Bay) are separate. Treat Radison Blue as an independent development with a prestige-sounding name.
Why is the name spelled RADISON rather than RADISSON?
The signage on the building reads RADISON BLUE. We could not find a developer, broker, or brand statement explaining the spelling, and the name appears nowhere else on the open web for a Hurghada project. If you are considering a purchase here, ask the developer directly what operating or management arrangement, if any, attaches to the name.
