Rixos Opens Premium Magawish Bay View Resort in Hurghada — A New Benchmark for Red Sea Luxury

Rixos Opens Premium Magawish Bay View Resort in Hurghada — A New Benchmark for Red Sea Luxury

Rixos Hotels Egypt has officially opened Rixos Premium Magawish Bay View, a new five-star resort located on the Red Sea coast in Hurghada, adjacent to the existing Rixos Premium Magawish Suites & Villas. The opening marks a significant expansion of luxury hospitality infrastructure in the Magawish district — one of Hurghada’s fastest-growing real estate and tourism corridors.

Located just 7 kilometres from Hurghada International Airport, the resort features 442 accommodation units including rooms, suites, and 17 private villas — each with its own swimming pool. The Skyline Suites offer private rooftop infinity pools overlooking the Red Sea. Nine swimming pools, including an infinity pool with direct beach access, anchor the resort’s leisure facilities.

Dining spans seven venues: Turquoise Restaurant for international buffet, Casa Fiesta (South American), Peruana (Peruvian), Rasa (Indian), and L’Olivo Ristorante (Italian). The Azure Lounge is reserved for villa guests, while Society Adults Lounge & Restaurant combines dining with a beach club atmosphere.

Erkan Yildirim, CEO and Managing Director of Rixos Hotels Egypt, stated: “Rixos Premium Magawish Bay View strengthens our vision of redefining luxury all-inclusive hospitality in the Red Sea. Together with Rixos Premium Magawish Suites & Villas, it creates a dynamic destination that brings design, dining, and lifestyle experiences together in one exceptional setting.”

What This Means for Hurghada Real Estate

The opening has direct implications for Hurghada’s real estate market. The Magawish corridor — stretching from the airport south toward Sahl Hasheesh — is emerging as Hurghada’s most active development zone. The addition of a second Rixos property alongside existing projects by Emaar Misr (Marassi Red Sea), Grounds Developments (Tamaraya), and HDA Developments (Al Mawj Resort) signals strong institutional confidence in the area’s long-term appreciation potential.

For property investors, new luxury resort openings typically drive up surrounding property values, increase short-term rental demand, and attract higher-spending tourists who may transition to second-home buyers. As international hotel brands continue investing in Magawish, the district is positioning itself as the next premium address on the Red Sea.
